Nancy Newman is a broadcaster for the YES Network, where she has covered the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets since 2003. As the host of Batting Practice Today, she provides fans with exclusive pre-game coverage, including live updates, interviews, and behind-the-scenes insights one hour before Yankees games. Nancy Newman also anchors YES’ Brooklyn Nets game coverage, the network’s pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows. Her work has earned several regional Emmy Awards for programs including Batting Practice Today (2017), New York Yankees Pre-Game (2007), NYYankees Live Game Telecast (2011), and Brooklyn Nets Sports Event Live (2018).

In addition to the aforementioned hosting roles, Ms. Newman leads other YES Network programs, including Yankees Magazine, where she conducts player interviews and provides feature reporting. She also anchors the annual Yankees HOPE Week Special, a charitable program that highlights inspiring acts of goodwill the team performs throughout the community.
